I love it when a plan comes together....

Trek Canada MTB Team just got a new sponsor... and i love it when the Best Products sponsor us.... I have been using this lube for years and it has always kept my drivetrain clean, quiet, efficient and friction free.... Might be a few bucks more and a bit harder to find, but definately worth the time and money.... Give it a try!!!

Forgot how good it feels....

Stopped by the Trek Store Toronto for my usual vist and to pick up my 2012 Road Machine.... just used the CX bike with a proper crank last year... and it was nice... but i forgot how nice it is to ride a full carbon, decked out Madone road bike.... so fast, so comfortable, so smooth, so beautiful... i look forward to long rides already... Internal cables all the way around... clean and smooth.... SRAM Rival drivetrain.... DoubleTap is SOOOOO the way to go!!!! Check out that Dinner Plate!!!! i hope my skinny legs can make it turn! Got to take her for a spin the other nite and loved it.... although our first ride together was raining.... Now that ain't right!!!

First round of the World Cups happened this past weekend in South Africa.... and Canada had an AMAZING showing!!!! World Champ Catherine Pendrel had a great race but faded in the last lap to finish 3rd.... and EMILY BATTY of Brooklin was in it from the start, had an amazing race and was just out of the sprint to finish 2nd!!!!! Emily and Catherine leading the charge... Canuck Girls Rock!!! "OMG!!! I just finished 2nd in a World Cup!!!) Smooth, focused and fit.... that's why she goes to Arizona every winter.... to get ready to show her best.... Congrats Emily.... you have earned it!!!

Ok ... Seriously!!! Every night about 9pm i start to twitch and shake.... Nutella Fix Time... and it doesn't matter how it get it... Rice cakes, Arrowroots, Rice Chips.... no wonder i can't get down to my Race Weight... good thing it's "almost" good for me... It might be time for an....

Got out for a fun ride with Eric (maleEB) Batty the other day... nice to have company... was feeling pretty good about myself when he kept saying "Dude... we're hammering!!!".... turns out he had 2 injured ribs and couldn't breathe... don't feel so good anymore... so i've been checking in with the Trek Canada Team... Mitch - just spend 2 weeks in Cali training, Cayley - just spent 2 weeks in Cali training, Peter - enjoying Cali warm rides and leading long group rides, Adam - enjoying the perfect weather in Arizona.... and .... Barnes - riding in the snow and wind on back country roads avoiding frozen potholes and snowplow ridges so that i don't crash and freeze to death only to be eaten by foxes and crows... Spring can't come soon enough...
