Got to play around on one of the best OCup courses that i've ridden (thanks Scott Holmes!!) and had some great legs for it.... finally. I was able to sit in comfortably and take charge on some hills, and caught / passed some of the faster 30-39 year old guys with relative ease.... too bad Eric Jobin had a mechanical because it would have been a good test and chance to measure my performance....
First climb was a tough / steep one that required some real effort.... but also gave me a chance to catch on in the field afterwards and make sure i was where i wanted to be for the singletrack... |
The Famous Rock Launch proved to be a popular audience location.... the hardest part is making the right hander at the bottom!!! |
The finish climb was on the same slope as the start and the dreaded Son of a Pitch... so 3 times up the Kicker per lap makes life that much less enjoyable... |
